Furthermore - trying to ungroup a selected component results in parts of the component being sent 'behind' the original image - not the desired effect we wanted. The app annoyingly paints red borders around other parts of the image that I did not even select.
Big mistake - the app froze constantly and seemed to be doing things in the background when I went into transform mode to try and select parts of an object.
